How to do it
- 1Define roles (e.g., 'City Planner,' 'Bridge Builder,' 'House Designer').
- 2Discuss the essential components of a city: houses, roads, parks, hospitals, etc.
- 3Start building the largest structures first. Encourage the child to experiment with different block arrangements to maximize height and stability.
- 4Use masking tape to map out roads and paths connecting the buildings.
- 5Once the city is complete, engage in imaginative play within the constructed landscape.
