How to do it
- 1Designate several zones in the yard (under rocks, near flowers, on tree bark).
- 2Give each participant a notebook section to record their findings (Species name/description, Location, Count).
- 3Systematically search the zones for 45 minutes, using the magnifying glass for close inspection.
- 4Compare the recorded counts. Discuss which zone had the most life and why.
