How to do it

  1. 1Lay the blanket in a shady, comfortable spot in the backyard.
  2. 2Sit facing the infant, using a thin sheet to briefly cover your face or the infant's feet.
  3. 3Use exaggerated facial expressions and vocalizations, repeating the phrase 'Peek-a-boo!' as you reveal yourself.
  4. 4For older infants (9-12 months), encourage them to pull the sheet away themselves.
