How to do it
- 1Decorate the blocks with pictures of diverse story elements, grouping them by category (e.g., Die 1 = Character, Die 2 = Setting, Die 3 = Problem).
- 2Establish the rule: one person rolls the dice and starts the story using the resulting elements.
- 3Take turns adding sentences to the narrative, ensuring the story flows logically.
- 4If the child struggles, provide simple connector phrases ('And then...', 'Because of this...').
