How to do it

  1. 1Help the child roll out a circle of 'crust' dough using the rolling pin.
  2. 2Flatten the red 'sauce' dough and layer it on the crust.
  3. 3Use the plastic knife to cut small pieces of yellow dough for 'cheese'.
  4. 4Encourage the child to press 'toppings' (beans, pasta) onto their pizza creation.
  5. 5Ask them about their 'customers' and what kind of pizza they are 'ordering' to boost narrative skills.
