How to do it

  1. 1Place colored paper circles in the bottom of the muffin tin holes to designate sorting categories (e.g., red, blue, green).
  2. 2Mix all the buttons together in a central pile.
  3. 3Instruct the child to pick up one button at a time and place it into the matching colored hole.
  4. 4Gradually increase the complexity by introducing sorting by size or the number of holes on the button.
