How to do it
- 1Check the library calendar for scheduled reading or story time events.
- 2If no formal program exists, select a quiet area in the children's section.
- 3Encourage the child to choose books slightly below their reading level to practice fluency, or slightly above to challenge vocabulary.
- 4Practice reading aloud with expression, focusing on character voices and pace.
- 5Return the books and check out new titles.
