How to do it

  1. 1Set up the buckets in a circle or facing each other.
  2. 2Start with simple, steady beats, emphasizing keeping time.
  3. 3Introduce a 'call and response' game: the adult plays a short rhythm, and the child immediately repeats it.
  4. 4Experiment with different volumes and speeds (tempo).
  5. 5Try to create a synchronized group rhythm to finish.
