How to do it
- 1Lay out the materials in a short sequence, ensuring no sharp edges or splinters.
- 2Start by having the toddler remove shoes and socks.
- 3Guide the toddler to step slowly onto each new surface.
- 4Describe the sensation of each material ('cold', 'bumpy', 'soft').
- 5End the activity with a foot wipe and praise.
