How to do it

  1. 1Use painter's tape to secure the contact paper (sticky side facing out) to a window or wall at the child's height.
  2. 2Show the child how to press the tissue paper onto the sticky surface.
  3. 3Encourage them to cover the entire surface, naming the colors they use.
  4. 4If using a window, observe how the light shines through the collage afterward.

What they're practising

  • Fine motor precision (peeling/placing)
  • Texture exploration
  • Light and color blending (if on a window)
  • Vertical plane interaction
