How to do it

  1. 1Select a theme (e.g., 'Searching for the Lost Artifact' or 'Escaping the Dragon').
  2. 2The first person starts the story with a sentence or two, initiating movement.
  3. 3As the group hikes, the next person adds to the narrative, often using physical landmarks as plot points (e.g., 'We must cross this rocky river!').
  4. 4When a conflict or action arises, the group must physically perform the action (climb the hill, sneak past the 'bear', leap the 'gulf').
  5. 5Continue taking turns until the final destination is reached and the story concludes.
