How to do it

  1. 1Walk the designated area, only collecting items that have naturally fallen or are abundant (never over-forage). Discuss plant identification.
  2. 2Return home and clean all materials (wiping away dirt, allowing damp items to dry).
  3. 3Design the structure: older members handle the gluing/wiring of large structural pieces (e.g., branches, rocks).
  4. 4Younger members fill in details with moss, berries, or small leaves.
  5. 5Place the finished centerpiece in a prominent location for display.
