Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon
A community Thanksgiving potluck featuring a short service and a neighborhood walk.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville (UUAVL) and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Swannanoa Valley (UUSV) are teaming up for this year’s Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon . Please sign up in Sandburg Hall after services to bring a covered dish and to volunteer for setup, takedown, or one of the two kitchen crews. Attendees will arrive at 11:30 AM on Thanksgiving Day, participate in a short service, enjoy a delicious meal, and go for a walk in the neighborhood afterward. We would like to encourage diners to bring a plant-based dish. Also, please supply your own plate and utensils and bring a bag for taking them home. (To save time and labor, the kitchen crew will wash only cups after the meal.)
