Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands
A large-scale craft fair featuring over 100 Appalachian artists, live mountain music, and artisan demonstrations.
This is the biannual flagship event of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, a nearly 100 year old alliance of fine craftspeople across the 9 states of Southern Appalachia. Over 100 artists will have their work for sale, ranging from fine jewelry to handcrafted furniture to handwoven garments and more, including representation from Qualla Arts, the artisan cooperative of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. There are artist demonstrations throughout the event all four days, and live mountain music on Saturday and Sunday.
