Sketchbook Storytellers: Homeschool Book Club
A book club for homeschoolers featuring animal-themed stories, group discussion, and creative art activities.
Calling all homeschoolers ages 8-12 who are interested in stories, sketching and creative self expression! Join us for an informal homeschool book club with stories and art activities centered around a general theme. Prior to meeting, participants should have read some or all of a book related to the topic. The book can be a chapter book, graphic novel, or nonfiction title. Open-ended discussion questions will lead into an art-based activity. Sketchbooks and materials provided. This first month we'll focus on stories featuring animals. Ages: School Age - (grades K-5), Tween (ages 10-12). Hosted by Pack Memorial Library, Buncombe County Public Libraries.
