Cyclovia ATX
An open-streets festival closing roads to cars to create a safe, car-free space for biking, walking, and community exploration.
Hosted by Ghisallo Cycling Initiative, Cyclovia ATX is built by the community, for the community and aims to celebrate Austin’s vibrant cycling culture, sustainability and active transportation. We’re bringing the community together to experience Austin by bike and connect with organizations that are helping make our city more accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable. This is a free, family-friendly "open streets" festival in Austin that temporarily closes neighborhood roadways to motorized vehicles to create a safe, car-free space for the community. Urban streets become a temporary public park where people can safely bike, walk, run, and explore local non-profits and civic groups.
