PEAS It’s My Park Volunteer Farm Day

Help maintain the community farm with weeding, planting, and tree care during this volunteer event.

Join PEAS during their 15th anniversary with a Farm Volunteer Day (It’s also It’s My Park Day!) Help refresh our PEAS Farm at Cunningham Elementary! We’ll spend the day doing some tree care, weeding, mulching, planting and refreshing our community farm! PEAS (Partners for Education, Agriculture and Sustainability) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Austin, TX with the mission to cultivate joyful connections with the natural world through outdoor learning and edible education. The farm at Cunningham is where our mission began and holds a special place for us as we celebrate PEAS 15th anniversary this year! Volunteers get the satisfaction of helping forward our mission and an AWESOME It’s My Park Day t-shirt designed by a local artist! We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work-appropriate clothing. We’ll meet at the farm located behind the Cunningham elementary (northeast corner) and get started right at 9AM.
