Join TreeFolks for a free tree adoption event through our NeighborWoods program! Austin residents and Austin Energy customers can take home a free five-gallon tree to plant and care for. We’ll be at the George Morales Dove Springs Recreation Center on Saturday, October 3. Stop by anytime during the event; no registration is needed. 📍 5801 Ainez Dr, Austin, TX 78744 To help more neighbors take home a tree, people within the Austin Full Purpose Jurisdiction and Austin Energy Customers may adopt up to two trees per household each season. Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you live outside of our service area, you’re welcome to adopt one tree per household each season. Before choosing your tree, please review our Right Tree, Right Place guide to make sure you have enough space for your tree to grow. Thank you for planting and caring for a tree! Your tree can provide future shade, wildlife habitat, and other benefits for our Central Texas communities.
