Austin Tree of the Year Bike Ride
A guided group bike tour visiting notable trees and award winners across Austin parks.
Join us for a group bike ride to celebrate the Austin Tree of the Year Awards! During this ride, you'll get a chance to tour past and current tree nominees and even some winners! The ride will be led by Ride Bikes Austin, in partnership with TreeFolks, and Growers of Austin Texas. We will meet on Sunday, November 15th from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, beginning at Shipe Park, located at 4400 Avenue G, Austin, TX 78751. Meet your bike leader by the cabin, near the playground. Please bring water, comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather since we will be outside the whole time. We will tour various Tree of the Year nominees and winners, beginning at Shipe Park. Ride Bikes Austin will guide us on bike from Shipe Park to Dottie Jordan Park for a second tour stop, then we will ride to Growers of Austin Texas, located at 1216 Webberville Rd, Austin, TX 78721, where we will complete our ride and celebrate the Small Tree of the Year Winner.
