An open sketching session at Laguna Gloria for artists, designers, and families to draw in the museum grounds.
Grab your sketchbook and come hang with us at Laguna Gloria on Thursday September 10th! That’s right–we’re trying a new time out for sketch club! If you’ve wanted to join us, but can’t make Saturday mornings work, now is your chance! Laguna Gloria is open with extended hours from 6-9PM on Thursday. We are planning to arrive at 6:30, but feel free to come earlier and enjoy the museum. Please keep an eye on our Instagram story to see where to find us if you’re lost (or just look for our sketch club lead, Gerardo!) This event is family friendly and open to everyone. Whether you’re an architect, designer, engineer, or artist, come sketch with us! PARKING TIPS: The Contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria is located at 3809 West 35th Street, Austin, Texas 78703. The entrance is at the end of the cul-de-sac, on the left hand side directly across from Westwood Country Club. Limited public parking is available on West 35th Street.
