The Bookstore's 20th Birthday Party
Celebrate two decades of books with cake, giveaways, face painting, story time, and early-00s themed fun for the whole family.
We’re turning 20! September 7, 2026 will mark the 20th anniversary of being the place where books and people meet. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the bookstore is inviting the community to an all day early-00s-themed birthday party on Saturday September 12, 2026 , complete with cake, photo ops, giveaways, and much more. The celebration starts at 10 AM, and we will have activities throughout the day in-store and outside on our newly-renovated patio area. Spin the wheel when you walk in and win a prize ranging from pieces of candy or free stickers to store discounts and blind-dates with a book. Kids Club Story Time is at 10:30 AM, Kim Sherman-Labrum will be face-painting from 11 AM to 2 PM, and local tattoo artist Deb Bryant will be in our event space with flash tattoos ready to go from 12 PM to 6 PM.
