Enjoy a relaxed evening at the botanical garden with picnic space, local pop-ups, and garden strolls.

Flower Power Happy Hour is a relaxed way to experience the Garden during extended evening hours! On select Thursdays in October, enjoy FREE admission from 4–7 PM, spend time with friends or family, and take in the Garden as the season begins to change. Bring your own picnic, stroll the paths, or settle in on the plaza. The Garden Store will be open for snacks and gifts, and our mobile bar will be serving drinks throughout the evening. Each week features a fun, low-key activity or local pop-up, with no tickets required. Think happy hour, surrounded by the beauty of the Garden in fall! Daniel is the creator of Awkward Botany, a plant science blog that explores the often-overlooked details of the natural world. With a background in horticulture and biology, Daniel brings a unique perspective to the plants growing right in our own backyards. Week Three: Art In The Garden Thursday, October 15 | 4–7 PMCelebrate the beauty of the garden through painting! Join artist Ellen Howard for a relaxed, hands-on painting experience inspired by the cheerful colors and shapes of sunflowers.You have the chance to meet the creatives behind Seeds of Expression, our new sticker design initiative celebrating creativity and connection to the Garden.
