10:00 AM Service – Flower Service
An intergenerational church service celebrating nature with a flower communion and pancake breakfast.
At our one all-ages 10:00am service this week, celebrate the 105th anniversary of this annual Unitarian service! Norbert Čapek, founder of the Unitarian Church in Czechoslovakia, saw the need to unite the diverse congregants of his church from varying Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish faiths. For this reason, in 1923, he honored the universal beauty of nature by having a communion of flower instead of the Eucharist. Please bring a flower to share during the service. There will be a New Member Welcome Ceremony during the service as well. Gather for a pancake breakfast at 9:00am, then this one all-church intergenerational service at 10:00, and our annual meeting at 11:00.
