Farm to Fork: Full Bellies and Full Hearts

Kids learn winter cooking skills, food preservation, and animal care on the farm.

Let’s take the time to appreciate and honor the shorter days, longer nights, and the snow to come. We’ll practice basic cooking skills while creating warm winter recipes that delight our taste buds and open our minds to new flavors (who knew roasted radishes could be absolutely radical!). When we’re not in the kitchen, we’ll learn about the importance of decomposers, how to preserve food for the long winter, the art of storytelling, and spend time with our friendly goats to see how they thrive in the colder months.
