Get To Know Your Library – A Spanish/English Bilingual Resource Fair
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a bilingual resource fair featuring dance performances, lessons, and a piñata.
· Library Meeting Rooms Registration is not required This program is presented in English and Spanish Join us in the Library Meeting Rooms and on the West Patio (off of Kimbark street) for a library-wide Spanish-language and bilingual resource fair and celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Throughout the event, participants will be able to visit the different library booths to learn about the Spanish and Bilingual resources we offer. We will have snacks, entertainment, and activities for all ages! Event Schedule 1:15 – 1:45 pm: Grupo Folklórico México Lindo , a local dance troupe, will perform traditional dances. 2:00 – 2:30 pm: Rueda Lesson Dancers will offer a one-song performance, a short talk behind the music and the dance, followed by a group dance lesson with the audience! 2:45 – 3:00 pm: We will break open a piñata , filled with treats!
