A celebration of Latiné Heritage Month featuring flower bouquet making, cultural snacks, music, and community speakers.
Join fellow Buffs as we kick off Latiné Heritage Month on Farrand Field! Stop by to create your own flower bouquet inspired by Colombia’s Feria de las Flores, enjoy a taste of Latin America with delicious snacks like paletas, empanadas, café, and more, and pick up your Latin America pin to wear throughout the month and all year long. The celebration will also feature El Grito de Independencia de México with representatives from the Mexican Consulate in Denver, along with music celebrating the Latin America diaspora. This event is free and open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members. Hosted by the Center for Cultural Connections & Community, the Latin American and Latinx Studies Center, Ethnic Studies, the Spanish and Portuguese Departments, The Bueno Center for Multicultural Education, Education Aboard and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE).
