An evening of astronomy featuring a lecture on the Voyager 1 probe, a planetarium show, and telescope viewing.
Join us for a night of learning and stargazing at UTC's Clarence T. Jones Observatory! Samantha Doss-Watson will be presenting on the Voyager 1 probe, which will have reached a distance of one light day from earth. A planetarium show will feature the night's constellations and topics complementary to the lecture. Gates open at 6:30. Lecture and Planetarium show begin at 7:00. Telescope viewing until 9:00 (weather permitting).All times Eastern. Visit this page for directions. Seating is limited so arrive early.
