Drive-up event to recycle electronics, shred documents, and drop off clean Styrofoam.

Bring in your old electronics and paper to recycle and shred! Hosted by the City of Hilliard Environmental Sustainability Commission (ESC), this annual event in the Hilliard Public Service Department parking lot will follow the same drive-up system as in years past. Simply pull your car up to the drop-off as directed and ESC members and staff will dispose of your materials. This event is free and open to the public, though a fee applies to certain electronics. Electronics Recycling Residents can recycle a wide variety of electronics, including computers, TVs, monitors, printers, cell phones, gaming systems, audio and video equipment, and other household electronics. RenTek will be onsite to collect electronics for recycling. Find a full list of accepted items, along with fees for certain electronics, here . Paper Shredding Black Ops Destruction will provide onsite document shredding. Residents are limited to three banker boxes of paper. A standard banker box is approximately 16 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 10.5 inches high. Styrofoam Collection Polystyrene, commonly known as Styrofoam, will also be accepted. Items must be clean and free of tape, labels, and stickers. Food containers, plates, cups, egg cartons, and packing peanuts will not be accepted.
