Lithopolis Honeyfest
A two-day community festival celebrating honey with bee-themed demonstrations, educational sessions, food trucks, and family activities.
The Lithopolis Honeyfest returns in 2026 on Friday, September 11 from 3–7 PM and Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM–7 PM, bringing two days of sweet, family-friendly fun to the heart of town. Celebrating all things honey, the festival features unique experiences like bee beards, educational sessions, a bee train, hands-on honey extraction, delicious food trucks, and much more. With activities and demonstrations throughout the festival grounds, there’s always something buzzing with excitement. The event is pet-friendly, kid-friendly, and completely ADA-accessible, and it remains one of the few festivals of its size that is completely FREE to attend. As the festival opens on Patriot Day, organizers will take a moment to honor and remember those affected by the events of September 11. The celebration will also recognize the upcoming United States Semiquincentennial with a special program on the Main Stage highlighting the spirit of America. Sponsors and vendors will join in the celebration with patriotic touches throughout their booths and displays. Much like a beehive, Lithopolis Honeyfest is filled with amazing things happening within a well-organized environment—where the main focus is making your visit as sweet as possible.
