Wildlife Buddies: Turtles!

Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy a turtle-themed story, craft, and short guided hike with their parents.

<p>Bring your toddlers and preschoolers out to meet other families during Blandford Nature Center’s Wildlife Buddies! We will explore different themes related to our Wildlife Ambassador Animals. This program will include a story and touchable learning materials, an activity, or a craft. Please come prepared for a short guided hike where your toddler can explore the theme of the day. Weather permitting, we will end in our Nature Nook for self-guided free play. Dress for the weather! Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk of the Visitor Center and our staff will let you know where the program is starting.</p> <p><strong>Cost:</strong><br /> Non-Member Child (ages 1 and up): $10<br /> Non-Member Adult: $5<br /> Member Child (ages 1 and up): $5<br /> Member Adult: Free<br /> Children 0-12 Months: Free</p> <p><span style="color: #ff0000;">All registered children must have a <u>registered</u> adult in attendance with them.</span></p> <p><strong>Note:</strong> <span style="color: #ff0000;">This program is designed for children ages 1-4 and their caregivers.</span> Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Older children are welcome but should be prepared for the slower pace of this program. Children under 12 months are free, but registration is required for all participants, including adults and infants. Pre-registration is required. Online registration closes at noon the day before the program. If the program sells out, you may complete your online registration to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available. This program will take place indoors and outdoors. Please dress for the weather. In the event of severe weather, this program will be cancelled, and participants will be notified of their refund options.</p> <p><strong>Cancellation Policy: </strong>Cancellation requests received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible for a 50% refund of the total registration cost, not including the credit card processing fee. Due to administration costs, full refunds are not available. Cancellation requests received within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. If Blandford cancels a program due to severe weather, you will have two options: transfer your registration to the reschedule date or donate your registration fee. In the event we are unable to reschedule the program, full refunds will be available. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.</p>
