A hands-on workshop where participants learn animation basics and build their own working zoetrope.
All ages: Explore the magic of animation in this hands-on workshop! First, learn some of the basic tools and techniques of how drawings come to life and how you can begin your own masterpiece using the tools at the Studio. Then, create your own animated image strips and build a working zoetrope, a classic optical toy that turns still images into moving pictures. Space is limited. Registration required. Registration opens 3 weeks before the program at 7:00pm. All abilities encouraged! Participants that require caregiver support welcome.
