A community health event featuring screenings, education, and a scavenger hunt. Costumes encouraged for this Halloween-themed day.

Access Health CT is sponsoring “Health to Treat,” a free event featuring health resources and community care. The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10am-2pm, at the New Britain Public Library, 20 High Street, in New Britain. Blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings, blood sugar screenings, BMI checks, and health education will be available. The first 100 guests will receive a free gift bag and a free passport scavenger hunt card. The first 25 of the first 100 guests to complete their card will receive a treat. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Registration is required. Call 860-224-3155
