Creepy Crawly Hallow-zines (NWL)

Create spooky, kooky mini zines using collage techniques in this hands-on Halloween-themed workshop.

All ages: Get into the Halloween spirit by making your very own spooky zine! In this workshop we’ll cut, tear, layer, and collage images and words from old magazines to create creepy, kooky, and wonderfully weird artwork.  Along the way, we’ll explore the history of zines and the DIY culture that made them a powerful form of self-expression. Then you’ll use what you’ve learned to create and fold your own one-of-a-kind mini zine. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Space is limited. Registration required. Registration opens 3 weeks before the program at 7:00pm. All abilities encouraged! Participants that require caregiver support welcome.
