September Cooking Events at Lil' Chef
A baking workshop for children to create and decorate treats to celebrate grandparents.
Family Fun Night Friday, September 11, 2026 5:30-7:30 pm This course is for the entire family (for ages 3 and up*). Come join Family Fun in the Kitchen. Ttwo-hour workshops provide a perfect opportunity for parents and children to spend quality time cooking together – with all the fun and none of the cleanup! (Kids 6 and up are also welcome to be dropped off.) Work as a family to complete 2-3 recipes and enjoy eating what you make at the end of class. Chef instructors make cooking fun! You will learn how to properly measure wet and dry ingredients, knife skills, and kitchen safety. Menu – Pizza – another cheesy, saucy, delicious night the whole family will love! Brunch for Grandparents Workshop Sunday, September 13, 2026 10:30 am-12:30 PM Baking Workshops are back! Lil’ Chefs will learn how to properly measure wet and dry ingredients, the importance of exact measurements, and how to follow a recipe. Participants will work together in small groups to complete each part of the recipe, and each Lil’ Chef will create and decorate their own to take home. This course is designed for Lil’ Chefs who want to celebrate the special people in their life with a delicious brunch made together with love! Menu – French bread pizzas, chocolate chip muffins, and Shirley Temples. Baking Apples Workshop Friday, September 18, 2026 5:30-7:30 pm This course is designed for Lil’ Chefs who want to learn more about baking and pastry techniques. Participants will peel, fill, bake, and enjoy! This is a cozy fall favorite for all ages.
