Tales & Tails – Story Time in Nature
Free story time and animal encounter for young children and caregivers in the outdoor classroom.
Join us most Fridays for a FREE story time & an animal encounter in the Outdoor Classroom (or indoors in inclement weather.) This ‘caregiver and child’ program will allow you to build connections with nature and your neighbors in an outdoor learning environment. Visitors are encouraged to come early or stay after to discover Irvine’s trails, meadows, and wetlands with the family. This program is ideal for children 5 and under and an accompanying adult. Instructor: Rebecca Sparks, Early Childhood Educator Fridays 10:00 – 10:45AM Held in Irvine’s Outdoor Classroom* FREE! All are welcome. No registration required. Tales & Tails is a wonderful way to introduce little ones to nature and to neighbors. It is part of a larger Irvine goal to increase access to nature.
