A family-friendly cultural celebration featuring Indian music, dance, and hands-on diya lamp decorating.
Come celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights! Dance along to upbeat Indian music, then make and decorate your own diya, a traditional oil lamp, to take home and shine bright. Time : 11am and 2:30pm Diwali Celebration with Neeta Merchant : 11am and 2:30pm Diya Decorating: 12-2pm Space is limited! Book your tickets now; this program is included in museum admission. *Events and dates are subject to change. About the Play Partner: Neeta Merchant is a Laughter Yoga teacher and wellness educator based in Irvine. Drawing on her Indian heritage, she brings joyful movement and connection to families and community.
