Sprouts Winter Break: Daikon Cake
A hands-on cooking class where kids learn to make traditional Daikon cake to celebrate New Year food customs.
Join Chef Paul for a celebration feast! Many cultures celebrate the new year with food traditions. Growing up in Taiwan, Paul absorbed many different dishes from the people who immigrated to Taiwan from China in the late 40s. They brought their food customs and traditions with them, and now Paul wants to share what he learned from his parents and neighbors with you! Hands-on. Recipes contain: seafood, soy, treenuts. Cost: $30 for Owners; $40 for non-owners Class Notes: This is a hands-on cooking class for kids only. Arrive 5 minutes before class starts so we can begin on time and all together. Class will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please return at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled end of class for pickup. Please provide any information regarding food allergies or other dietary restrictions when you register.
