Discovery Building Expo – Field Trip Day
A STEM-focused field trip day for school groups featuring interactive exploration stations and professional scientists.
The Discovery Expo – Field Trip Day is designed for pre-registered school groups from across Wisconsin to visit the Discovery Building on UW-Madison’s campus and experience dozens of interactive, hands-on exploration stations that feature STEM activities ranging from virtual reality to health and medicine, chemistry, physics demonstrations and more in addition to other add-on experiences across campus! Explore the hands-on activities at your own pace and interact with scientists, STEM professionals and students from UW-Madison and beyond! The Discovery Expo in the Discovery Building is a great opportunity for youth (grades K-12) to discover something new and exciting about science! Registration will open on August 1st. Visit wiscifest.org/teachers to access the registration link. Not able to attend in-person this year? Check out our virtual field trips! The Discovery Building Expo – Field Trip Day is presented by the Morgridge Institute for Research Community Engagement Team.
