Summer Plant ID Walks
Join a guided, leisurely hike to learn about native prairie flowers and improve your plant identification skills.
Want to practice your plant ID skills this summer ? Friends of Wisdom Prairie volunteers Julie Melton and Sylvia Marek are offering a series of guided hikes focused on id entifying native prairie flowers. You can expect a leisurely walk with many stops. These tours will be offered monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 10:00 am-12:00 pm June through September. Upcoming walks – Thursdays, monthly, 10:00 am-12:00 pm June 18 July 16 August 20 September 17 Register Email Emma at ekloes@holywisdommonastery.org to save your spot for one (or many) of these walks . Registration via email is required as we are capping our walks at 20 participants.
