A bilingual, interactive author event celebrating engineering through rhymes and play for young readers.

October 17th 10:30-11:30am Central Library – Lower-Level Program Room, Children’s Area Presented in partnership with the Wisconsin Book Festival . ENGINEER SOMEDAY! is a joyful, bilingual (English/Spanish) celebration of curiosity, creativity, and the amazing world of engineering! Through playful rhymes and vibrant illustrations, children explore ten different types of engineers, from aerospace to biomedical, software to civil. Each is compared to something kids already know and love, like superheroes, chefs, magicians, and explorers. Whether your child dreams of building robots, designing spaceships, or inventing the next big app, this book shows them that their imagination is the blueprint for a brighter future. With every page turn, young readers are reminded: If you love to build and play… you can be an engineer someday! Copies of Engineer Someday will be distributed for free to all attendees courtesy of the Wisconsin Book Festival. Hosted by Abby Ryan, Madison Central Library’s Youth Services Librarian.
