What could be better than spending a bright, sunny summer morning in the beautiful Kettle Moraine countryside while a certified yoga instructor guides you through a series of gentle and relaxing yoga poses? How about adding a handful of tumbling, curious and seriously cute baby goats from Kid Farm LLC? You and your friends will relax, commune with nature and smile non-stop in these monthly classes with instructor Dana Bear—we kid you not. Bear began practicing yoga in 2010 and was hooked by its physical and mental benefits. Since then, she has delved into a variety of yoga styles, appreciating how intentional, mindful movement can calm and strengthen both mind and body. She believes in yoga’s unique ability to meet individuals wherever they are on their journey, using it as a tool for personal growth and empowerment. Bring your friends, your yoga mats and a sense of fun! What You’ll Experience An engaging yoga lesson with instructor Dana Bear The chance to stretch, frolic and play with plucky goats from Kid Farm LLC Cost $25/person *Children are required to be age 8 and up for this experience. About the Location Wade House Stagecoach Inn was constructed conveniently between the cities of Fond du Lac and Sheboygan, along a well-used stagecoach trail. This made the 27-room Greek Revival hotel a popular resting point for weary travelers. Three generations of the Wade family resided on the Wade House property, with the stagecoach inn operating until around 1872. The Kohler family and the Kohler Foundation purchased Wade House in 1950 and began a top-to-bottom restoration. The site became property of the Wisconsin Historical Society and opened to the public in 1953. Here, visitors can journey back to the horse-powered world that existed before planes, cars, and trains. The site features the stagecoach hotel built and owned by Sylvanus and Betsey Wade, early settlers of Greenbush, as well as a blacksmith shop, sawmill, and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, which houses Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons. Visitors can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from the visitor center to the historic core and back again. Greenbush, WI 53026 Know Before You Go Classes will be held outdoors in the lawns next to the Wade House Stagecoach Inn, weather permitting. If it rains, classes will be held inside the visitor center, with time to visit the goats after class. Tickets are available until 10:30 AM each Saturday or until the class is sold out. Please bring your own yoga mat and a water bottle. Attendees should park in the lot across the street from the Wade House Stagecoach Inn or along the road next to the Inn, not by the Visitor Center.
