A weekly community farmers' market featuring local agricultural producers, food artisans, and food scrap recycling.

The Eastside Farmers’ Market is Madison Wisconsin’s finest weekday farmers’ market. Our goal is to bring the freshest Wisconsin grown food direct to the heart of the East side. Our vendor members are agricultural producers and food artisans who make value added products from Wisconsin’s agricultural bounty. We aim to create a dynamic and fun community event based on great local food and connecting with each other in a real way. Ask your family farmer what is new this week and your Tuesday afternoons will be brightened. Join us 4:00PM – 7:00PM every Tuesday from April 28-October 27, McPike Park, 202 S. Ingersoll St. Conveniently located off of the E. Washington corridor and the East side bike path. Street parking available for customers along Ingersoll, East Main Street, and the surrounding area. As always, we accept EBT/FoodShare at the Eastside Farmers Market and we encourage you to spread the news! Come to the info booth to exchange your EBT funds for our Market dollars and enjoy shopping. Free food scraps recycling drop-off returns to the Madison Eastside Farmers’ Market for the 2026 season! The first date food scraps will be accepted is Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Look for the free food scraps drop-off to drop off your coffee grounds, eggshells, and appropriate vegetable and fruit scraps so they can be composted. At the food scraps tent you can get a free bucket for carrying food scraps, guides, and even fun stickers about our collection goals. Food scraps drop-off at the Madison Eastside Market is the second food scraps drop-off site to open for the season. The first market site is located at the Westside Community Market. The appropriate scraps will be accepted every Tuesday evening starting on April 28, 2026, and ending on October 27, 2026. Additional details about the Madison Eastside Farmers’ Market can be found on their website.
