Learn historic crafts and discuss the power of using your voice in this hands-on workshop series.

Join us for monthly craft workshops to learn new skills and improve well-being. Sessions on August 18, September 29, and October 13 will include historic crafts paired with presentations about the power of using your voice when it matters most. Co-hosted with Utah State University Extension Office. This event accompanies "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America," a Smithsonian exhibition that explores the action, reaction, vision, and revision that democracy demands as Americans continue to question how to shape our country. "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America" is made possible in Utah by Utah Humanities and local venues around the state. Voices & Votes is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. It is based on an exhibition by the National Museum of American History. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress. Visit the exhibition in Vernal from August 15 to October 17, 2026 to learn how Utah connects to this national story through local companion exhibits and public programming.
