Changing Leaves Tree ID Hike
A guided hike to learn about tree biology, fall color changes, and winter identification tips.
Join a Ranger and learn why the trees change color! Which tree keeps its leaves all winter? If chlorophyll makes leaves green, what makes green leaves become other colors? Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, wear hiking shoes, and bring water! Spaces are limited, and registration is required.
