Let’s Chat About the Stars Paddle
A guided night-time kayaking or canoeing trip on Falls Lake featuring star identification and folklore.
Guests can join the group for a paddle by starlight on Falls Lake. Everyone is invited to share their own knowledge and stories of the stars. Staff members aren’t astronomy experts, but they will assist with celestial identifications and share some star folklore. Please be aware that the paddle takes place fully after dark. The paddle lasts approximately two hours, and all paddling equipment is included. Optimal star viewing cannot be guaranteed. The trip may run under cloudy skies, and the informational star program and star stories will still be shared. Reservations and payment must be made prior to arrival. Kayaks are for a single paddler, while canoes are for two paddlers. This paddle is not appropriate for children under 10. Children under 14 must be in a canoe with an adult.
