Pottery Wheel Workshop
A hands-on pottery wheel throwing class for beginners and experienced makers alike.
Our small-group pottery wheel classes are the perfect way to get creative while learning the art of wheel throwing. With a maximum of 6 students per class, you’ll receive plenty of hands-on instruction and personalized guidance. Whether you’re brand new to pottery or jumping back in after time away, this workshop is a fun and relaxing way to get your hands muddy. Before You Throw For the best experience, please avoid dangling jewelry, flowy sleeves, and flip flops, as studio floors can get slippery. Long hair should be tied back, and very long nails may make wheel throwing more challenging. Dress comfortably and expect to get a little messy — clay washes right out! We provide aprons for all participants, or you can bring a towel. No experience necessary — all skill levels are welcome! Open to ages 10 and up. Your instructor will help select your best finished pieces for kiln firing. Projects will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup in approximately 2–3 weeks.
