Fall Nature Fun Day on the Eno
A free, hands-on nature event for families featuring creek exploration, fall crafts, and learning about local wildlife.
Help the Eno River Association celebrate the sights, smells and sounds of fall on the Eno River! Join for a free, family-friendly day of hands-on fun at the Confluence Natural Area. Get your hands and feet wet while searching the creek for aquatic macroinvertebrates, make a festive fall-inspired craft, and learn about some of the Eno’s most fascinating “spooky” species. This event is free and registration is not required. Drop by anytime between noon and 4 p.m. The event is geared toward families with kids, but nature lovers of all ages are welcome. Restrooms are available on-site. Two accessible parking spaces connect the paved sidewalk to the pavilion. At least one activity will take place in the paved pavilion. Questions? Email education@enoriver.org for more information about this event.
