Sweetpotato Tasting

Stop by this popup program for an opportunity to taste sweetpotatos that you may never forget... It turns out there are quite a few more types of sweetpotato than the common orange variety most people think of. Discover and taste them for yourself, and why they are becoming so popular, in this popup program hosted by NC State's sweetpotato research group. You'll be able to sample and compare the common Covington sweetpotato with popular culinary varietals like the Murasaki and even get a sneak peak, or taste, into some of NC State's yet-to-be-released creations. We'll be in the Venture Center Courtyard from noon to 1pm and then relocate over to the Reds and Whites by Hunt Library from 1:30-2:30pm. It will be worth the detour!
