A community service event featuring volunteer projects to support local nonprofits and schools in remembrance of 9/11.
Activate Good will host the 9/11 Day of Service & 25th Anniversary Remembrance Event on Sept. 11, 2026, at John Chavis Memorial Park in Raleigh. In honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, volunteers will come together to turn remembrance into meaningful action through hands-on projects supporting local nonprofits, schools and community needs. Projects will include food distribution, community garden and park beautification, school projects, hygiene kit preparation and more. The event also will feature community drives and opportunities to connect with local nonprofits and discover ways to stay involved beyond Sept. 11.
