Andrés Engleman with Rowena Mariano Young Listeners Program Sunday, May 16, 2027 4:00 p.m. East Building, SECU Auditorium FREE – Tickets Required Overview Chamber Music Raleigh’s popular Sights & Sounds on Sundays series brings some of today’s most compelling musicians to the North Carolina Museum of Art’s intimate and acoustically exceptional SECU Auditorium. Each concert offers a close-up, thoughtfully curated experience where exceptional artists, distinctive programs, and the energy of live performance come together. About the Artists Young violinist Andrés Engleman is an emerging artist of remarkable promise, currently studying at The Juilliard School with internationally renowned violinists Midori Goto and Stella Chen. A first-prize winner in the 2024 Southern California Junior Bach Festival, he has appeared as a soloist with the Spokane Symphony Orchestra and Eastern Sierra Symphony and has earned multiple honors in major chamber music competitions. He is joined by Juilliard-trained pianist Rowena Mariano, an accomplished soloist and chamber musician who has performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall, and venues throughout the United States and Europe. This free concert is presented in partnership with the Community Music School.
